First stop, Coolhotyoga in Cresskill (located above Dunkin’ Donuts) to try out their infrared sauna. Once I arrived I immediately gravitated to the retail section in the front right of the spa. Many goodies ranging from yoga apparel, skincare, supplements and Crush’d Garage fresh pressed juices -yummy!!! My retail therapy session was cut short because I was quickly greeted by Lexi, Coolhotyoga’s manager. After our quick informative chitchat she directed me to the very quiet and relaxing infrared sauna. The room was fully stocked with the spa essentials; plush towels, facial wipes, small fridge loaded with Crush’d Garage Juices (for sale), and the ever so soothing spa sound track playing. An infrared sauna is not the typical wet inclosure, instead it is dry therapy. However, by the time my 30 minute session was up, I was sweating. BUT, the good, I feel energized, rejuvenated, cleansed, type of sweat! On my way out I grabbed a Crush’d Garage juice (Asbury Slammer) to re-hydrate my body, and was more than ready to tackle my day after this amazing morning detox.
Coolhotyoga has many sauna packages to choose from, AND across the street is their yoga studio where they offer several antigravity and coolbare classes. Ladies (and guys) click the Learn More Button below to find out more information about Coolhotyoga.
I cannot wait to get back in the infrared sauna and I will definitely try out a class!
Be sure to tell them beautyandtheburbsnj sent you. xoxo.
