How I Get Ready For A Special Event

The Night Before

This past weekend I had a wedding to attend and as I was putting the final touches together on my look, I thought I should share with you guys my routine when I get ready for a special event. Normally, I start a couple days ahead, by getting a manicure and pedicure. The night before I usually first do a mask and lately I reach for my Muah Makeup Glow Mask which gently exfoliates my skin leaving it flawless and glowing! Next, I wash and blow dry my hair if I plan to blow it out myself. I feel that second day hair styles so much nicer for an event than freshly washed hair. After that, I shave, exfoliate and then either self tan or have a professional spray tan done. Lately my favorite self tanning product is Loving Tan 2 Hour Express tan in the shade Dark. This is the best at home tan I have tried! ZERO odor and so easy to apply it is goof proof! If I go the spray tan route, I use my girl Nicole who owns Heybabe Tans ( she uses Suvara World products (created by a celebrity spray tan guru, think the Karadashians) I have had tons of spray tans in my life and this one is the best! The tan looks so natural and glowy and fades seamlessly without any streaking! Trust me check her out when you need a spray tan.

The Day Of The Event

First up I style my hair with my Beachwaver of course! Then I usually do another face mask and I always go for my Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask of course! I do this before my makeup because the glow that it gives me is like no other mask. My makeup applies flawlessly and my skin is perfection! After I have done my mask, next is makeup and some lashes. I usually go and have my makeup done but sometimes I do it myself. I can do a step-by-step of my special event makeup routine if you guys are interested let me know! Last, after I am all ready to go I slather any skin that is showing with my Nars Monoi Body Glow. This makes me smell fab and gives me the perfect glowy, bronzy finish to my look. I especially love this on my decolletage and legs. Once I throw my gloss, some bronzer, cash and my cell in my purse I am ready to go!
